A Long Bike Ride

Today I decided to go on a long bike ride. It was a hot day today and I think I am suffering a little from a dehydration headache, but the good news is that I have some new photos to share with you all. I don't know the names of anyplace that I went, but I can tell you that I went by the French Embassy and over the river on a bridge and that eventually I got far enough out of the city that the business signs no longer bothered translating into English.

What struck as being funny about this land for rent is that it was basically a dirt mound that was being flooded

The green is not ground. This whole area was flooded and the green is algae floating on top of the water. Immediately to the right of the tree is a partially submerged couch.

These Lilly pads help to ameliorate the bad smell of the dirty water they are growing in

This scaffolding is constructed out of wooden poles

A typical street market

If you look carefully at the rooftops you will notice that there are many satellite dishes
It is difficult to spot in this picture, but there is a boy swimming in this water

I grew up with 7-11's. Cambodia does it one better with their convenience stores!
